About the Artist

Marine Strage is a French Artist living and working in the Bay Area, near San Francisco.

Born in 1968 in Quimper, Brittany, France.

Moved to Paris in 1986 after Baccalaureat in Sciences with Honors.

Marine Strage moved to Paris to pursue her studies in Communication. After a successful carrier in Advertising and a continuous interest in Arts she moved to London and soon decided to engage in Fine Arts studies at Central Saint Martins.

Traveling around the world in 2012 Marine Strage settled in the Bay area end of Dec 2012 with her husband and daughters and started to focus on the beauty of the California landscapes as a source of inspiration for her Art. Her abstract paintings and new photograhic prints engage the viewer in expressive atmospheric landscapes that use wide color fields to create movement and space. Her work pushes the boundaries of landscapes by creating unique compositions made of different geometric shapes.
