This work is focused on Movement of colors. It illustrates abstract landscapes that might remind us of actual landscapes or atmospheres that we can observe in Nature like the soft transitions of blues between the sky and the sea or the fog interacting with the light. It is a sensation, an energy of colors that moves around us like the energy we have inside us.

 

The use of digital photography has allowed Marine Strage to push the boundaries of her creative practice and produce new abstract landscapes. The composition plays with geometric shapes like circle, rectangle and square. Thanks to the flexibility of the digital process, the image isn’t restricted by a frame and can expand into a complex landscape.
